All For You
Well, Last night I thought I would try to download Azureus to my Mac. Azureus is a torrent downloading web device. I used to use it along with demonoid.com to steal, er, uh, I mean download music albums from the internet. these were not just any ordinary albums mind you, these were known as "Imports" from England, that, if you were to go into a recka stow in the U.S. to purchase them, they would be selling for the extreme price of 30$s or above!!! Ridiculous!!!

So, I felt like Robin hood except I gave to myself and my room mate and some friends locally.

ANY hoozy, after downloading this obviously "possessed" application, My computes told me that there was only a few megabytes of space left on my 60 Gigabyte hard drive. YES! Megabytes! So, in a panic, I went to my applications folder and started deleting things I had never used since getting this computes. Along the way, somehow, I inadvertently deleted the ability to "click-and-drag" as well as the ability to "right-click-paste"

MAJOR loss!! I was trying to click/drag my whole photo album of 4000 pictures into the external hard drive that I had installed when I realized I had lost that ability. 'oh well', i thought, I can just reload my Leopard OS X and it will restore my original settings.

I spent ALL day yesterday reloading Leopard only to find out (right before work) that I lost everything! The only thing that was left on my computes was the OS that I just loaded!!!! That's right, lovelies....I lost four thousand photographs, ALL of my itunes music, ALL of my book marked websites, PHOTOSHOP!!!. EVERYTHING!!!!!

I am fine.....really....I just need to beat up some poor homeless person and I will feel fine......BRB!

That's awful...I've been there, more than once. :(
1) Start saving photos on external server programs (Flickr)
2) Back up files onto CDs
3) Use different music sharing program (X. knows better ones)
4) Use del.icio.us for saving bookmarks
5) Get a memory stick for saving and carrying files between machines.

X. dumps his music to discs often. I put pics on Flickr or dump to CDs semi-frequently (when I save other folks photos). I put most of my bookmarks on del.ocio.us and tag them for organization. All my email is on online servers.

What music ones does X use? I would like to use one that does not require an application to download, just so I can download music. And I would like a place that allows me to download whole albums instead of just songs. I use beemp3.com for singles, it is great by the way.

Thanks sweets!!!

*hugs*

Ouch...

having lost lotsa stuff once I now am a fanatical backer-upper... I regularly back up to CD and DVD - especially music, pictures, and stories.
